2010 Events
The Friends of Multnomah Falls sponsors several events throughout the year. Many events are open to the general public and some are training events for our volunteers.
Our mission is “dedicated to preserving and enhancing the
unique natural, scenic and historic qualities of Multnomah Falls
while providing a memorable experience for our visitors”.
- Board meeting: Every third Monday of the month at the Francis Xavier's Restaurant in the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel on NE 181st at 7 pm. All are welcome.
- Saturday April 24th - Training & Refresher Course for Volunteers - to be held at the Greater Gresham Baptist Church on 3848 NE Division at 9 am to Noon
- March 31st - Gardening on the Plaza at 9 am to Noon
- May 6th - Gardening on the Plaza 9:00 am to Noon
- June - Falls Festival - USFS June 26 & 27th 2010
- July 25th - The FOMF Picnic will be held from 4 pm arrival, dinner at 5 in the picnic shelter at Guy W. Talbot State Park near Latourell Falls in the town, Latourell. - (Always held on the last Sunday of July each year)
- November (Date to be announced soon, either the 2nd or 3rd Monday) - FOMF Annual Meeting at Multnomah Falls Lodge - Arrival and “Meet & Greet” at 4:30 pm Buffet at 5 pm. Meeting to Follow. Election of Board Members & Officers Volunteer Recognition and Special Awards
