2012 Events

The Friends of Multnomah Falls sponsors several events throughout the year. Many events are open to the general public and some are training events for our volunteers.

Our mission is “dedicated to preserving and enhancing the
unique natural, scenic and historic qualities of Multnomah Falls
while providing a memorable experience for our visitors”.


  • Board meeting: Every third Monday of the month at the Francis Xavier's Restaurant in the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel on NE 181st at 7 pm.  All are welcome. (No board meetings are held in Nov due to the Annual Meetings, nor Dec due to holidays)

  • March 31, 2012 - Interpretive Volunteer Training Program - 10 am to 2 pm at the Bonneville Dam Auditorium.

  • April 11st 2012 - Interpretive Volunteer Training Bus Tour to Steigerwald Wildlife Preserve in Washington, lunch and tour of Bonneville Hot Springs Resort.

  • July 29, 2012 - The FOMF Volunteer Picnic - 4 pm arrival, potluck BBQ dinner at 5 in the picnic shelter at Guy W. Talbot State Park near Latourell Falls in the town, Latourell. - (Always held on the last Sunday of July each year)

  • November (Date TBA)- FOMF Annual Meeting at Multnomah Falls Lodge - Arrival and “Meet & Greet” at 4:00 pm Buffet at 5 pm. Meeting to Follow. Election of Board Members & Officers Volunteer Recognition and Special Awards
